Diversified’s President of the U.S. Division, Liz Plizga, has been elected to the Board of Directors of UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, for the 2026–2029 term. This marks Liz’s first term on the Board and an opportunity for Diversified to collaborate with stakeholders to help shape the future of the global exhibition industry.
UFI is the leading global association representing trade show organizers, exhibition venues, industry associations, and partners around the world. The organization plays an important role in advocating for the exhibition industry, facilitating collaboration, and providing research, education, and resources to support its members.
As a member of UFI’s Board of Directors, Liz will join industry leaders from around the world in helping guide the association’s priorities and address issues impacting the global exhibition industry. Her three-year term begins following UFI’s General Assembly on November 2, 2026, held in conjunction with the 93rd UFI Global Congress in Bahrain.
“Board participation gives Diversified a seat at the table and valuable insight into where the global events industry is headed,” said Liz. “It also connects us with other organizers, potential partners, and service providers who can support our business globally.”

Through its membership and Board representation, Diversified contributes to important industry conversations, shares insights with fellow organizers and industry leaders, and helps champion the value of exhibitions in connecting businesses, strengthening industries, and creating opportunities for growth worldwide.
